For determining the insulation properties of building components (walls, windows), it is necessary to know the heat transfer coefficient, i.e. the "U-value"(k-value before).
The U-value is the most important value for determining heating losses of a building. The measuring device testo 635 detects the U-value much easier than ever before.
You measure three temperature values simultaneously (outdoor, indoor wall surface and room air). The wireless sensor for the outdoor temperature is simply positioned outside. The three temperatures are transferred to testo 635 which automatically measures the U-value and indicates it on the display.
The memory integrated in the measuring device also allows long-term measurements.
